BLURRY

You’re getting blurry. I can barely hear your voice. I can’t remember your touch.  You’re fading away even though you’re already gone.

I’ve gotten used to sleeping in our bed alone. Coming home to an empty house. Waking up alone.

You’re gone, my eyes tell me.

But you’re still here, says my heart.

I grieve for a man I am slowly forgetting.

Welcome to the web’s millionth blog. I’m the world’s okay-est mom, I hate coffee, and I have a ton of kids that are kind of cute. Oh, I have no husband since he decided to permanently move upstairs. So that makes me a widow, too. Grab a glass of wine, and join me while we travel this most interesting life.
